Our district provides a number of opportunities for members to be aware of the developments within RTO (our provincial organization); RTO Toronto Districts (our local entity representing four RTO/ERO districts in Toronto) and, of course, RTO Toronto District 16.

The governance of RTO is provided by its Board of Directors, and Senate (Annual Meetings). Check here for some detail.

Check our Archives for minutes of Executive Meetings, Annual Meetings, Financial Reports, etc.

Our District Governance Document is available to download here.

*Note: the governance of RTO Districts has changed with RTO/ERO now being covered by the federal Not-For-Profit Corporations Act. Toronto District 16 will be adapting its current constitution to meet the new standards. This is under way by a committee led be our First Vice President, Armand Gagné. Until this task is accomplished, Toronto District 16 will be governed by its current approved Constitution within the new governance protocols. Should one wish to see a sample district governance document, it is available at this link.

RTO Toronto District 16 holds its Annual Meeting in the morning prior to the Spring Luncheon. Typically held at The Old Mill, the normal business of the meeting (reports and elections) is enhanced with a presentation of topical information. Past presentation topics have included: benefits, estate planning, fraud protection, pension status, RTO Benefits up-dates.

The photos scrolling to the left describe the assorted programs available to members. (See also, our Activities Link above.)
